Black Pigeon, Inc. is a research based executive search and HR consulting firm specialized in Manager to Director/C-level positions (i.e. CEO, CFO, CIO, CTO, CMO, COO etc.) in
(i) Marketing / Advertisement /PR Communications / Digital / CRM / MD / VMD / Sales & OP
(ii) Creative / Art / Design / Production and
(iii) IT / Tec / Engineering
(iv) Biz Support (Finance, HR & Legal)
domain across the industries (i.e. Apparel, Fashion Luxury, Sports, Life Style & Electronics, Automotive, Food & Beverage, FMCG, IT, Internet, EC, Hospitality, Entertainment, Finance, Pharma and others).
Due to our long term business expansion plan and high demand of our clients` requirements, we have newly opened this new head count joining our dynamic team as a Senior Researcher.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ideation, development and execution of new research strategies in order to sourcing the top notch executive talents in the market
- Visiting new and existing clients along with the consultants, understanding the clients requirements and taking appropriate result driven actions
- Listing up the possible target companies and mapping out team / Organization structure
- Managing external Research Agency
- New Talent acquisition through head hunting, direct approach and other sources (i.e. SNS media, event, networking, referrals etc.
- Conducting phone screening of passive/head hunted talent, setting up appointment between Talent vs consultant.
- Managing company`s (Black Pigeon) internal database, data entry and keep the database up to date.
- Meeting individual target KPI (key performance indicator) daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
- Getting involve in internal hiring (Hiring staffs for Black Pigeon) through direct sourcing (i.e. head hunting, scouting) screening and interviewing, onboarding, training and development etc.
- Responsible to hiring your own staff, training, nurturing and motivating them for maximum output.
- University degree in Natural Science (i.e. Computer Science, Physics, Mather etc.), Journalism, Economics, Business, Marketing, Communication, Media or other related fields.
- Minimum 4 years' + experience as an Executive Researcher in Recruitment Industry.
- Innovative, cheerful, logical thinker, capable to make creative story/ joke on the spot.
- Persistent and can work under pressure
- Not fear of communicating with senior level executives (i.e Manager, Director, CEO, board member)
- Language Skills: Japanese – Daily conversation level and above, English is Business level

Black Pigeon, Inc. is research based executive search firm specialized in Manager to C-level Positions in Fashion, Apparel, Luxury, Sports, Automotive, Finance, Pharmaceutical and Animal Health Care, industries. To meet our clients` requirements of Pharmaceutical and Animal Health Care Industries, we are hiring this Sales Manager in order to take care of our Pharmaceutical and Animal Health Care Clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Account Management
- New business development in pharmaceutical and Animal Health care industries mainly foreign affiliated and also Japanese global pharmaceutical and Animal Health care industries.
- New Business development is consisted of cold calling/Telephone Call and Direct sales/Field sales.
- The objective of new business development is to acquire new job requirements(i.e. Potential Openings in Sales, MR-Medial Representative, Marketing) and deliver to the relevant consultants
- Making appointment with potential clients and visiting them along with the relevant consultant
- Beside new client acquisition, Sales Manager will be in charge of account management as well.
- Participating business networking event in order to develop business network and finding potential clients.
- Black Pigeon uses its own Database is called File Maker (Was developed Apple Computer). This Sales & Marketing manager must maintain and update the data base daily basis.
- Coordinating with external Creative/ Marketing vendor including the creative freelancer developing marketing collaterals, promotional tools, brochure and Business card and others.
- Meeting individual target - daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and yearly KPI
- Managing individual expenses/schedule
Marketing
- Black Pigeon is invited by various event/business organization such as ACCJ(American Chamber of Commerce), BCCJ(British Chamber of commerce), Nihon Jinzai News and others. This Sales & Marketing Manager will be attending those events as a representative of Black Pigeon in order to enhance Black Pigeon`s brand image.
- Black Pigeon writes professional article in Nihon Jinzai News. Japan Times and other magazines. The articles is about Japanese Labor market, Mid-Career Employment trend etc. This position has to coordinate with those media companies. In order to communicate with the media companies, no Japanese is required. The language of communication is English.
- Responsible to hiring staff, training and nurturing them to grow career in the long run
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication or related discipline
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Field Sales/direct sales in Pharmaceutical or Animal Health Care industries.
- Having Marketing experience is a plus but not must
- Strategic minded, logical thinker and capable to solve problem
- Dare to work with junior to senior level business professionals across with industries
- Business Communication level of English. Knowing basic Japanese will be a plus but not must; however, must have strong motivation learning Japanese since company may arrange some Japanese lesson
